Devils sitting pretty. 6th spot with a matchup vs Florida who I think doesn't have what it takes.

I hear that Kovalchuk's disappearing act in this years playoffs will even impress Harry Houdini....can't wait

Florida plays us tough though...they can be a very frustrating team...

hopefully the devils wake up by then and steamroll them like they have the potential to

Some of you guys get so worked up over little comments.

Kovalchuk being "soft" and "disappearing" has been a long inside joke between keaton and most Devils fans.

We need to get the offense going, and this game would be a good start against a weak defensive team. Harrold was impressive last game, interested to see how he plays.

That Carter-Josefson-Bernier line is actually really good. They find each other and have chemistry, which is great to finally see from our fourth line, they spend almost all their shifts in the other team's zone, and they are all reliable defensively.

IMO, now it's just about getting the right fit between Parise, Kovalchuk, Zajac, Sykora, Elias, Zubrus, Poni, Henrique, and Clarkson.

Nice play by Carter to turn that puck over.

If Carter and Bernier keep playing like this, I like how our forward group looks.

Nevertheless, we could've scored like 6 times on that PK, the Lightning have now let in more SHG than we have, or very close.

I know, but Carter and Bernier playing like they are playing now makes our fourth line a pretty potent line, not something we can say too often.

It's just a matter of finding the right combinations and everyone clicking on all cylinders, once we find that, and if Marty can keep his game us, the sky's the limit for this team.

I am not trolling, but I am wondering what is up with the empty seats? Is it ticket price? Recession hitting a little harder there? The Devils are almost always competing for the playoffs and a good team, what's up?

I love Bernier and Carter. I really think he's gonna pay huge dividends in the playoffs

It looks bad. For some reason, they decided to sell the upper seats behind the net more exclusively this year. The black seats have a bar and food up top on the corridor that is exclusive to those who buy the seats, so often times, the fans watch from standing up or at the bar.

It's always consistently around 15,000, so it's not as bad as it seems.

But you also have to take into consideration, there's a lot of poop that goes on in NY, plus the Devils have to take away from three established fan bases. They are probably in one of the most difficult markets of any of the major sports leagues.

EDIT: If you want to talk about the game, you're welcome here. Don't feel shy, just don't be an bumhole.

Ok, cool thanks for the info. I'm trying to change my image from being capt. Douchebag to someone that doesn't just troll and run.
